As I was building up my new Volume Thrasher, I decided this would be a good opportunity to incorporate some new items for a review. One of these items is the
Halo Fix-T Cover, compliments of
Halo.
As stated in an earlier posting, Halo Fix-T Cover(s) are designed to cover up your unused threads on your track hubs. Weighing only 13g, this CNC alloy cover threads onto your hub without a hitch. All you need is a little grease and a
Park Tool SPA-4 spanner or similar tool.
As you can see, it has a smooth and clean look. Whether your into aesthetics (hopefully not...) or wanting to prevent gunk buildup on your unused threads, this is the best solution for you. If your’e wanting to protect your threads from heavy impacts from trick riding, this may not be for you. Light impacts... definitely!
These little gems come in a variety of colors and are distributed through
BTI. Contact your LBS to purchase.
Huge thanks to Lloyd and Matt @
Halo!

The new revised
Halo Fix-T Covers now come with bevelled edges for a smoother look. The purpose of these covers is to simply cover your unused threads on your rear hub... keeping unwanted muck out and giving your hubs a more aesthetic look.
