Archive Bags... located in San Francisco have some serious sewing skills. The
Hip Bags I received are simplistic and display an ideal size.. The expandable design allows you to maximize the most out of these Hip Bags... finding a home for your tools, wallet, cell phone, etc.
I also received a
Wallet that features two inside pockets for your plastic and one huge wide-mouth pocket for your paper currency. Seriously, I don’t know how many times I’ve complained about a wallets currency pocket being too small. I’m so tired of seeing my wallet in the folded position with bills sticking out this way and that way. But the Archive Bags Wallet has put an end to all of that!

Josiah from
5Bling sent me some black
Streamline gloves. They could not have come at a better time since I was in the market for some new gloves. The material is awesome. It’s some kind of stretchy rubber material that flexes with ease. The thickness of the gloves are perfect... not too thick and not too thin. With a snug and warm fit, there is no doubt these gloves are perfect for all seasons... indoor or outdoor.

Surface clothing is tailored specifically to be worn both on and off the bicycle. Whilst it's technical and highly functional on the bike, it's also casually understated and simple so it can be worn comfortably off the bike in the office, workshop or down the local pub.

Named for some of our favorite streets around Chicago, these caps are hand-crafted from upcycled materials by our friend on Lyndale St. Upcycling gives old materials a new life and a higher environmental value. Most of our materials come from clothing salvaged from thrift stores around Chicago, but don't worry, all materials are carefully hand-washed before assembly and smell terrific. These caps are one-of-a-kind. Due to their handmade nature, slight imperfections in workmanship are normal. –

In an attempt to let the world know how committed they are to their footwear line,
Chrome announces their Turds For Gold Shoe Exchange. For two days only, Chrome will be slinging a new pair of shoes to anyone that sends them a worn-out pair of kicks.

“Our shoes are built to hold up under the toughest conditions and are designed 100% to address the needs of the everyday city cyclist. Not only did we want to build a shoe that was durable and functional, but we also paid close attention to overall fit and timeless style."
The exchange begins on Wednesday, March 17 and ends promptly the next day on Thursday, the 18th. Packages must be post marked by 3/18 to qualify and should include a return shipping address and shoe size info.

The 10th
Bright tradeshow was held in January, this and every show before has had it’s own specific colorway over the years. As the guys behind Bright are fanatic about bikes and especially fixed gear, we thought it would be amazing to use the 10 colorways, as a guide for each artist to create a unique one off frame. Each frame and fork has been hand made by
14 Bike Co in Coventry from Reynolds 631, double butted steel tubing.
This is the first of the frames to be auctioned off for a charity that Bright has been working with. The reserve for this frame set is £500 as this is the cost of a new equivalent frame set from 14 Bike Co. The frame will be on show at 14 Bike Co until the auction ends.
Frame size is 53cm. Head over
HERE to make your bid!

In an effort to properly award blue-collar racers across the country,
Chrome proudly presents the Coveted Jersey. It’s a limited edition riding jersey that can only be obtained by winning select bike events.
“You won’t find the jerseys on our site or in any stores. We’re not selling them and won’t be giving these away. The only way to get one is by winning an alleycat, sprints race, polo match or some kind of similar event”, says Chrome Marketing Director, Matt Sharkey.
In order for an event to receive one of these jerseys as a prize, the race promoter has to submit an application giving all the details through the Chrome site at
http://www.chromebagsstore.com/events/. Designed by Garret Chow of
MASH/
GLOBE and produced in Italy by Capo, only 200 jerseys have been made and once they’re gone, that’s it.
“There’s a lot of companies trying to tap into this market by spraying these events with gear & branded product, with no real thought or purpose behind it,” Sharkey says. “The idea of the Coveted Jersey is to support these grassroots events with a unique product that no one else can get. It can only be earned through competing.”

So to start off, these
PEDAL STRAPS are real burly and solid. Since they are so stiff, it makes it really easy to get in and out of your pedals, which I love. Its always a pain when straps are too floppy and it takes forever to get your foot into them. I especially like the aesthetics of the straps, the all black with the little
RESISTANT label looks real clean. I honestly can't really think of any improvements or changes I would make to these straps. I guess, if anything, somehow make them easier to put on the pedal, but I don't know how reasonable that is, since they aren't too difficult in the first place.
Overall, I really like these straps. I've been riding them for a little bit and haven't had any problems. Though, I haven't been riding them long enough to see how well they hold up to the elements or my beatings, but I can tell they will do just fine. The overall quality is great and I can see myself riding them for a long time.
