Following up from their Turds For Gold promotion where
Chrome shipped out over 5,000 pairs of free shoes all over the globe, they now want to see how folks will live in them. Between now and August 1st, take a photo of yourself in your new Chrome shoes and send it to myfoots[at]chromesf.com. The photo can document your daily life, be humorous or ridiculous. Most importantly, it should say something about you. In August, the Chrome staff will vote on the top four submissions. A staff member will then visit each of the finalists’ hometowns, hook them up with some Chrome goods and photograph them to be featured in a Chrome ad campaign later this year.

Chainvetica does the math your PBR addled brain cannot. Given the tooth count of your chainring and cog, it calculates gear inches -- an ancient formula designed to sum up just how hard it's going to be turn over the cranks on your fixed gear. The more inches you're running, the harder it is to push. Use it to pick your cog. Use it to quantify the power of your massive quads.
As an added bonus, Chainvetica also calculates your speed at a cadence of 90 rpm. Your skinny jeans will make 90 rpm exactly "as fast as you can pedal" so basically, this app also calculates your ride's top speed without all the bourgeois cables and stuff.

SizeMyBike computes the optimal geometry of your road or mountain bike's frame that is ideal to your morphology. Six body measurements (height, inseam, sternum, arm length, foot length, and shoulder width) allow for an accurate computation of the best geometry. This information is useful in choosing the right frame size and obtaining an excellent adjustment for your bike.

Box Dog Bikes snapped a few pics of Walton’s new Cinelli x MASH prototype. So far, it will have a higher BB and longer top tube.
"Our goal is to offer two separate Cinelli geometries for 2011. The current street geometry, and an even more aggressive track. The more aggressive frame will offer some special details, and sit at a slightly higher price point for that design. 2011, and no sooner. This is the downside to instant internet information. It makes waiting, feel even longer… We are incredibly happy with the current production model, and want to offer something to a different customer with this additional adjustment." –
